Bedford at Falls River Awarded with Master Planned Community of the Year

RALEIGH, N.C., September 28, 2006 - Wake County’s top selling new home community, Bedford at Falls River, was awarded with three NCHBA STARS awards at the 21st Century Building Expo & Conference held in Charlotte.

Bedford at Falls River lead the Wakefield communities by receiving an award for Best Radio Spot and Master-planned Community of the Year.

Bedford won in 2004 for Master-planned Community of the Year and has repeatedly won awards for their marketing and advertising on the local and regional level.

Community of the Year was judged on the implementation and creativity of a marketing plan, cost and continuity of all marketing phases, and overall sales success. The judging criteria of the advertising awards included concept, layout, execution and overall design, and presentation as it relates to the target market.

The award gala recognized home building and sales & marketing efforts throughout North Carolina. The achievements of the industry’s builders, Realtors, on-site sales people, media and advertising professionals were showcased in 36 award categories.
